SAMIS is unavailable

SAMIS is under maintenance and is unavailable from Saturday 16 March until (and including) Tuesday 19 March.


During the period when SAMIS is unavailable, students who have any urgent health or wellbeing issues, or who wish to notify us that they are self-isolating, please contact Security on 666 on a landline or 01225 383999 on a mobile.

We will provide a ‘read only’ service to client users only, via a non-production instance, accessible by UniApps or the desktop launcher.


The following applications will be unavailable for the duration of the maintenance:

  • SAMIS bookings (PG Skills, FLC)
  • Applicant username and password generation
  • Registration
  • SAMIS on the Web (Student and Staff: includes Unit Evaluation)
  • Placements
  • Student Lookup
  • SAMIS Desktop Client (Staff only)
  • Business Objects (SAMIS-related reports only)
  • Learning Materials Filestore (LMF)
